Sr. Reservoir Engineer-A&D Focused | Growth-Minded E&P Team | North Dallas

A nimble, fast-growing E&P company is looking to add a Sr. Reservoir Engineer with a strong A&D mindset. You'll join a tight-knit, collaborative technical team that plays a central role in sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities-both marketed and off-market. This is an opportunity to take ownership in the deal cycle from scoping to execution, working closely with leadership and cross-disciplinary teams to shape the company's future.
What You'll Do:
Lead engineering evaluations for acquisition opportunities (both operated and non-op assets).
Forecast production and assess upside potential using internal and third-party data.
Build and refine economic models to support acquisition decisions.
Analyze operator trends in the Permian and other core unconventional basins.
Help streamline internal workflows using reservoir engineering software tools.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in oil & gas engineering, with at least some time spent in A&D.
Strong familiarity with unconventional plays.
Proficiency in tools like ComboCurve, PHDwin, Spotfire, and Excel.
A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and solid communication chops.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
