The Senior Sales Manager, Amazon is responsible for delivering sales and profit growth across all Amazon properties in the US, specifically Core 1P, 3P and Fresh. You will have direct P&L responsibility for one of Ghirardelli's fastest growing channels and will build our sustainable growth plan for Confections and Baking. This is a highly entrepreneurial role which requires strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of Amazon commercial strategy and supply chain.

  • Supervise and develop one direct report (Digital Commerce Analyst)
  • Responsible for Wholesale 1P, 3P, Fresh
  • Primary point of contact for Amazon Vendor Managers and Amazon Vendor Services (AVS)
  • Act as resource for Professional Products division to ensure efficiencies in total brand's presence in the marketplace
  • Lead development and execution of Ghirardelli strategy across all components of the Amazon flywheel (selection, traffic generation, customer experience, cost structure optimization)
  • Lead Annual Vendor Negotiations (AVN) to maximize profitability
  • Supervise day-to-day operations including inventory management, forecasting, pricing, advertising and content presence
  • Oversee accuracy of customer financial plans in Trade planning system across 1P, 3P and Fresh
  • Supervise Analyst in ensuring accuracy of Amazon product catalog to improve weekly ordering process and reduce chargebacks
  • Perform root cause analysis to improve service levels and reduce cost to serve in partnership with Customer Service, Demand Planning and Supply Chain leads
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Digital Commerce & Omnichannel Marketing to optimize AMS and DSP campaigns
  • Collaborate with Content Manager to ensure execution and compliance of best-in-class PDP and Brand Store content
  • Leverage digital shelf and sales & share performance metrics to maximize business opportunities
