Salary Range: $120,000.00-$150,000.00
Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for evaluation of RFP requirements, overall coordination/implementation of the proposal content and creation/submittal of proposals. The Sales Manager has primary responsibility for sales activity within and between various Jamco business units.

Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for evaluation of RFP requirements, overall coordination/implementation of the proposal content and creation/submittal of proposals. The Sales Manager has primary responsibility for sales activity within and between various Jamco business units.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:
- Builds and maintains relationships with key customer decision makers, with the intent of securing and supporting contracts.
- Develops the proposal and coordinates RFQ team requirements. Works closely with RFQ Team to establish and adhere to proposal process schedules.
- Takes the lead role in sales activity between customers of a specific territory and various Jamco business units: Jamco America, Jamco Tokyo, and Jade.
- Ensures all proposals are completed accurately and submitted prior to the customer deadlines.
- Uses established procedures and works independently performing assigned tasks.
- Upon receipt of LOI/PO from customers, creates sales handoff documents to release internally and communicates all information required by the program management office to proceed with programs.
- Supports development of the marketing plan, forecasting opportunities for product and customer growth.
- Follows established sales & marketing processes and procedures to reduce flow and increase efficiency.
- Brief relevant Executive Team members on the salient points of the Scope/Budget and the market price needed to win the program.
- Adjusts and/or revises proposal content including sales price and budget sheet accordingly based on the assessment of customers' feedback after proposal submission.
- Studies sales techniques by staying current with the industry marketing trends.
- Performs due diligence to ensure value and maintain profit margin for company.
- Works with the sale, marketing, and contracts coordinators to ensure cohesive workflow.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university; or four years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a minimum of seven years of commercial aviation experience within a sale and/or marketing administrator/coordinator/support role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Professional appearance and ability to establish customer relationships.
- Ability to understand and negotiate contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under various timelines.
- Team-player.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills utilizing sound judgment and a "can do" attitude.
- Ability to understand and relay technical content successfully.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups, including customers and employees within the organization.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
