Description:
Our large energy client is seeking an employee to join permanently as a Sr. SAP FICO Functional Consultant for configuration and BTP modernization.
Location: Must come into downtown Calgary office 5 days/week. Only local Calgary candidates will be considered at this time.

Must-Have:
- 8+ years SAP S/4HANA FICO experience
- Hands on configuration experience in SAP FI module (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Taxes, etc.)
- Experience with SAP FCC (Financial Closing Cockpit)
- Experience with SAP GR (Group Reporting)
Nice-to-Have:
- Strong knowledge of SAP SPRO (System, Application, and Product in Data Processing Project Reference Object)
- Ability or hunger to learn how to create SAP BTP (Business Technology Platforms)
- Expertise with SAP CO (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders)
Responsibilities:
- Work within an IT department working with finance & accounting principles to align business processes
- Write functional specs and collaborate with ABAP teams and Business teams
- Transition this client's environment to enable more low-code no-code SAP features for a future utilizing BTP more
