Description:

We are seeking an expert ServiceNow Developer III to join our IT team. This senior-level role requires a highly experienced and skilled individual capable of leading complex ServiceNow projects, designing custom solutions, and driving platform-wide improvements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including advanced scripting, integrations, and architecture, and will provide technical leadership to the development team.

Responsibilities:
  • ServiceNow Architecture & Development: Leads the architecture, design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
  • Customization: Designs and develops highly complex custom applications and enhancements, optimizing the ServiceNow platform for scalability, performance, and user experience.
  • Advanced Scripting: Develops and maintains advanced client-side and server-side scripts, including but not limited to Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Pages, and Complex Workflows.
  • Integration Architecture: Architects and implements sophisticated integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP web services, API integrations, and other middleware technologies.
  • Platform Governance: Establishes and enforces development standards, best practices, and governance policies for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Documentation & Technical Leadership: Creates comprehensive documentation for all technical solutions and provides technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Acts as the highest level of support for resolving complex ServiceNow issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing permanent solutions.
  • Process Automation & Optimization: Identifies opportunities for process automation and optimization across the platform, leveraging AI, machine learning, and other advanced technologies.
  • Mentorship & Training: Mentors and trains junior and mid-level developers, ensuring the growth of technical skills within the team.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborates closely with senior IT leadership, business analysts, and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Leads large-scale ServiceNow projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on ServiceNow platform development and architecture.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, SecOps, and others.
  • Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integration tools (e.g., MID Server), and other enterprise integration technologies.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including Scoped Applications, Service Portal, and Mobile development.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration with ServiceNow.
  • Advanced knowledge of database management and performance tuning.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) required.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITSM Implementation Specialist, Application Specialist) preferred.
