What You'll Do in This Position
Provide guidance for programs and oversight for entry level Planners, STR's, GCO's, Utility and Infrastructure Support Technicians (lineman, excavation workers, equipment operators, etc.)
Plan, develop, implement and administer a variety of activities, such as operation and maintenance of infrastructure scopes, as well as technical, programmatic and administrative functions.
Perform a wide variety of moderately complex, and diverse functions directly or indirectly in support of operations in the
area, department, section, unit or work group assigned. Receives predetermined work assignments with specific
instructions from management. Exhibit competency at a high technical or programmatic level as demonstrated by both
personal expertise and the effective direction and leadership of assigned work group. Provide general guidance to nonexempt employees. Assists less experienced personnel with more difficult aspects of work. Provide guidance to less senior employees to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies. Plans, prioritizes and coordinates work for others in order to meet unit or work deadlines. Operate under deadlines and may be subject to heavy workloads. Provide centralized control of a program or process that supports operations. Interpret and communicate programmatic, technical or process changes to operations personnel. Develop, implement and conduct training for operations personnel and management impacted by assigned programmatic, technical or support function. Train less experienced staff personnel. Assist the manager in the preparation, forecasting and reporting of organization performance, budgets, manpower requirements, workload distribution and the development of resource requirements.
Qualifications We Desire
Have knowledge of various site programs such as Asset Suites, AHA, Document Control, etc. Be able to maintain operational qualifications to operate and oversee work with fire water operations equipment. Have knowledge and qualification on 8Q 32 Hazardous Energy Control.
