Position Overview: The ITFP Cloud IAM Engineer is a member of the IT Foundation Platform (ITFP) Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) Identity, Governance, and Access Management Product Team. The team is responsible for packaging the identity and access management technology solutions into a cohesive offering for applications and managing the migration to on and off premise cloud. Additionally, the team is also responsible for integrating the multiple Cloud strategies and initiatives at Chevron, deploying the mandated security expectations to the application teams, and influencing the Cloud migration planning to leverage the key technologies. As a key component of the central IT function within Chevron's CTC (Chevron Technology Center), the IAM team has responsibility for the critical platforms, tools, and services that provide authorization / authentication capabilities for every Chevron business unit. Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Develop APIs for service to service interoperation and automation Develop application connectors to automate provisioning and deprovisioning application access Modernize application authentication and authorization Front end portal web development Support escalation level operations issues when required Identification, scoping, development/coding, and implementation of automation Mentor and assist other team members to ensure cross training and overall CEC organizational capability Qualifications: Minimum of 3 5 years of direct or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in an enterprise class environment Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft IAM technologies and platforms Minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure TOOLS: C, C#, C++, .NET, VS.NET, ASP.NET, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, XML DATABASES: Microsoft SQL, Oracle PLATFORMS: Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory SOFTWARE: Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Office Suite, Office365, Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps PROCESS: Agile / SAFe methodology Demonstrated ability to understand requirements, translate to functional, and design specifications for solutions. Demonstrated capability to develop web services and APIs. Understanding of federated authentication and authorization. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of high value add individual contributors and senior leaders. Demonstrated ability in working with a wide range of employees and contractors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
