Sr. Software Security Test Engineer -Device OS

Full Time Role

Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Here's how you'll make an impact on the team:

• Design and develop QA and automation test strategies for security features in Clover POS devices
• Own platform quality for one or more Clover hardware product lines
• Create and execute test cases aligned with PCI-PTS and PCI-PIN standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve cryptographic issues in the embedded OS
• Test and optimize symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms for performance and power efficiency

Here's what you'll need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in software QA, including hands-on embedded security testing
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, including encryption, PKI, HSMs, certificate management, TLS/mTLS
• Ability to create comprehensive test plans and identify high-risk areas
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or shell scripting
• Familiarity with UI automation frameworks like UI Automator, Selenium, or Cypress
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira, Jenkins)

Here's what else might help you out:

• Experience developing certified/regulated products (e.g., PCI, medical devices, automotive systems)
• Knowledge of Android platform testing (AOSP or equivalent)
• Background in ethical hacking, penetration testing, or OWASP standards

Pay Range:

$108,900.00 - $186,800.00
