About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilledSenior SolidWorks Electrical Designerwith 5+ years of experience in SolidWorks Electrical CAD design within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess SolidWorks Electrical experience and demonstrate expertise in designing and documenting power and control panels, automation systems, and I/O subsystems. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Electrical Engineers to create comprehensive design document packages, ensuring precision and adherence to best practices.

  • Lead the design of advanced electrical systems to be realized by internal resources or contracted services.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed, accurate technical documentation for complex electro-mechanical systems using SolidWorks Electrical.
  • Ensure all documentation meets strict document control standards, including revision management and ECR/ECO processes.

About You

  • At least 5 years of professional drafting and design experience
  • 2+ years of SolidWorks Electrical in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise in advanced electrical design, drafting for automation systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to process improvements.

Education

  • Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

At TAE Technologies, we consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and job-related knowledge, training; licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered (non-Sr., Sr., Lead or Manager). The compensation range for these roles are $80,000-$150,000.
