Position Summary

Under moderate supervision, deliver elements of the Supply Chain disciplines (Procurement, Supplier Management, Category Management and Asset Management) in a way that delivers value to the Company. This is accomplished through joint efforts with all Operational Teams (i.e. drilling, completion, facilities, etc.) and Supply Chain teams. Suggests methods for improving processes for efficiency and client benefit.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

SOURCING PROCESS:
  • Conducts market intelligence & analysis and provides recommendations
  • Develops and improves sourcing strategies
  • Outlines job scopes
  • Issues RFQ / compiles results, performs analysis and develops options
  • Structures agreement negotiations / award / execution
  • Responsible for Lifecycle Process management

SUPPLIER / CATEGORY MGT:
  • Applies key performance indicator management to key services
  • Delivers progress reporting and communications management that drive change
  • Provides market trends and communications to internal clients

REPORTING:
  • Performs and trains on expenditure analysis (Co., Region, Supplier, Category, etc.)
  • Performs and trains on supplier classification (Qualified, Approved and Preferred)
  • Performs and trains on supplier status reporting (Green or Red)
  • Performs and trains on suppliers without MWA Status reporting

ASSET MANAGEMENT:
  • Responsible for management of Asset Management process as require
  • Performs special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Computer/Software Applications

Competent in level of skill and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Competent in the knowledge of company specific software and related applications including START, Open Invoice, Power BI, Spotfire, ISN, SAP and other proprietary systems.

Role-Specific Technical Knowledge & Skills

Competent understanding of E&P services and materials, systems and tools, along with sourcing analytics and negotiations applications. Competent in technical E&P understanding to be able to develop sourcing initiatives that drive value. Can communicate effectively (oral and written) with clients and suppliers on subject matters.

Typical Education

Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Engineering. Professional certification preferred.

Typical Experience

Minimum of 4 years of Oil & Gas Supply Chain or other relevant experience.
