The Sr SQL Developer will develop and manage SQL databases by planning, developing, and maintaining the databases. In this role, the developer will identify and undertake appropriate development activities to satisfy requests, collecting and investigating problems until solutions are found.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Salary range for this position: Salary $100,800 - $131,000. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) with potential for hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Designs and develops Microsoft SQL Server procedures & functions
- Maintains applications developed in SQL Server
- Tests above applications and reports, creating any test data necessary
- Prepares completed applications and reports for turnover to users or Operations staff
- Research in-house program and system problems, and finds or creates appropriate solutions
- Contacts vendors and follow up with them to resolve problems with 3rd party software
- Maintains documentation of all development activities
- Interfaces with users and management regarding requirements, testing, and implementation
- Attends technical training to keep skills and knowledge up-to-date
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of direct experience minimum
- Must be proficient in T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting ETL procedures
- Conceptual understanding of healthcare benefit administration Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- Experience with one or more scripting or automation tool/language is beneficial and preferred
- Healthcare EDI transactions (837, 835, etc.) is beneficial and preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required
