Contract Position
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop system engineering solutions for CWL, focusing on payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, weapon simulation, message exchanges, user interfaces, and cybersecurity.
- Ensure functional and technical specifications meet customer requirements and support system development and testing.
- Apply systems engineering principles to define system architecture, standards, and technical requirements.
- Utilize requirements management and system modeling tools to support design, development, and validation efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity, embedded operating systems, and Linux-based architectures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) or related systems.
- Strong understanding of computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux, or embedded operating systems.
- Familiarity with systems engineering concepts, technical standards, and requirements management tools.
