Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in engineering monitoring solutions, specifically supporting the Event Management process.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace architecture and best practices.
• Proven expertise in deploying and troubleshooting Dynatrace OneAgent and Active Gates.
• Extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting in Dynatrace SaaS environments.
• Skilled in analyzing application performance telemetry collected by Dynatrace to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Working experience with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and observability purposes.

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior IT Systems Engineer in the Monitoring/Observability team, responsible for the configuration, management, and support of enterprise-level solutions that monitor applications and infrastructure across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
• This role requires active participation in the migration of monitoring solutions, including agent installations, grouping, reporting, alerting, and integrations with Event Management and ITSM solutions to ensure optimal application performance and availability in accordance with company standards and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Dynatrace environments for monitoring infrastructure, applications, and cloud services (AWS).
• Configure and optimize dashboards to provide visibility into system health, performance, and other key metrics.
• Continuously review and enhance existing observability solutions, making recommendations for improvements and new tools.
• Maintain and update scripts used for monitoring systems and applications on Unix and Windows servers.
• Develop custom monitoring solutions that utilize network, server, application performance, and log analytics tools. This includes creating custom scripts to meet evolving observability needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement observability solutions that align with business needs.
• Analyze telemetry data (events, alerts, traps, incidents, logs) to identify performance trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization. Provide detailed reports and actionable recommendations.
