JOB PURPOSEThe Senior Analyst, International Tax reports to the US International Tax Manager and is responsible for preparation of U.S. international tax calculations for provision and compliance including related tax forms (e.g., 5471, 8993, 1118, 8858, etc.) Review local international tax provisions for assigned region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
- Preparation of the US International tax calculations including Sub F, GILTI, FDII, and FTC models for quarterly tax provision and forecasting purposes.
- Preparation of U.S. international tax return compliance, including preparing supporting workpapers and reviewing international tax forms (e.g., 5471, 1118, 8858, 8900's series).
- Review of international tax return compliance via co-sourced local country accountants and outsourced accounting firm arrangement.
- Review of international book-tax differences to support tax basis balance sheets.
- Support timely delivery of workpapers and documentation required for external audits.
- Support process improvement initiatives to streamline and increase efficiencies.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory, Masters in Accountancy is highly preferred.
- CPA is preferred, not required.
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in tax is required. Preferably at least 3 years in international tax.
- Public accounting experience is preferred.
- Oil and gas industry experience is not required but recommended.
SOFTWARE:
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, Oracle, CCH Tagetik, Google Translate.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Working knowledge of federal and international tax principles.
- Understanding of transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
- Able to quickly adapt to and understand new ideas, concepts, and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and demands with a high degree of accuracy.
- Emphasis on attention to detail and effective organization skills
