As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will work with cross-functional teams to design innovative consumer products and release new features. Key job responsibilities
A TPM must be aware of the SDLC and Architecture of our systems, must be familiar with mobile, web development and AWS services and know how the service works on a high level, to provide research and development strategies or solutions to stakeholders and other teams. A day in the life A TPM on a day-to-day basis works with colleagues from Privacy, Trust, Operations Team, Product, UX and Engineering teams in driving the processes eliminating the manual processes. Owns meetings and work with SDMs and SDEs in getting work reviewed, in refinement, planning and get it delivered through the team. They own the Monthly Engineering Reports and Bi weekly program flashes to send to stakeholders on time.
A day in the life
- Contribute to the cross functional development on new features from design through delivery
- Deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines and communicate regularly with the leadership on status, schedule, risks and change control
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple development teams and vendors, navigating competing priorities
- Work with subject matter experts to drive new technology initiatives and evaluations
- Develop and champion processes for efficiency and scale in our organization
- Drive content engagement, through partnering with stakeholders and product management.
- Measure, assess, and iterate constantly to drive greater user benefits

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
