Senior Technical Program Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery
- Provide a holistic view of the overall program to the organization and all stakeholders
- Create and maintain a consolidated timeline/schedule highlighting the major milestones and associated dates for program activities
- Identify and communicate program/project dependencies and impacts
- Put mechanisms in place to ensure on-going control of the program (Program Approach, Communication Plan, Risk Management, Issues)
- Define program governance outlining roles and responsibilities, decision rights, and clearly defined escalation path
- Ensure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage expected program outcomes
- Keep all stakeholders (internal and external) engaged in the program, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout program
- Communicate the program's progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout program lifecycle
- Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
- Knowledgeable about how the organize works; knows how to get things done through formal channels and informal network. Understands the culture of organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business fields or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of overall program or project management, implementation, and consulting experience
- 7+ years of technical program management
- 7+ years of experience in project or program management processes and methodologies, as well as project lifecycle
- Experience reporting information and hurdles directly to senior leadership
- Experience in driving large-scale change efforts
- Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
- Stakeholder management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and client
- Experience in the financial services or banking domain
