Company: Amazon

Location: Bellevue, WA 98006

Description:

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our ShipTech UX team, where you'll play a crucial role in designing solutions that connect Amazon's Logistics worldwide operations through data-driven insights. This isn't just about creating interfaces - it's about designing systems that enable Business Intelligence Engineers, Front Line Operators, Regional Management, and Senior Leadership to effectively understand and act on operational data across our global Sort Centers and Delivery Stations.

In this role, you will tackle complex challenges in data visualization and operational intelligence. Your work will directly influence how leaders and operators across our worldwide network understand performance metrics, identify trends, and make strategic decisions. You'll need to think holistically, understanding not just user interface design, but also data visualization principles, business intelligence systems, and operational workflows.

The stakes are high and real: your designs will help leaders define organizational focus areas, develop long-term strategies, monitor project success, and make data-driven decisions that impact our global operations. You'll need to balance multiple priorities - from immediate operational needs to long-term scalability, from complex data visualization to intuitive user experiences.

To succeed, you must be a strategic thinker who can transform complex business problems into clear, actionable technical specifications and user experiences. You'll collaborate with business intelligence engineers, operations teams, and leadership while mentoring other designers and driving design excellence across multiple workstreams. Your work will not only solve today's challenges but help define the future of how we visualize and act on operational data.
