Core Functions: Facilities
  • Lead and oversee all planning, design, construction, and maintenance activities for the Buccaneers' facilities within Raymond James Stadium, ensuring operational excellence across all areas.
  • Develop and manage an up-to-date, comprehensive Facilities Master Plan, aligning with the strategic goals of the organization and the long-term vision of Raymond James Stadium.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership regarding facility planning, space utilization, and the optimization of physical assets to support business objectives.
  • Ensure the Facilities Master Plan is consistent with the broader organizational strategy and responds effectively to evolving needs.
  • Design and implement staff productivity programs, focusing on optimizing team performance to meet program schedules, budget targets, and high customer satisfaction benchmarks.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, engineers, and government officials, to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative construction management systems, process improvements, and risk management strategies, including contract management and project tracking.
  • Manage the annual capital project budget, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure budgetary alignment with facilities development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and guidelines across all aspects of facilities management.
  • Provide direct leadership in the budget development process, ensuring all financials align with operational needs.
  • Maintain availability for emergency response and operational needs, with flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.


Core Functions: Stadium
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Sports Authority (TSA), and external contractors, ensuring adherence to stadium agreements and operational standards.
  • Monitor and ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and operational readiness of Raymond James Stadium, maintaining a high standard of safety and quality across all areas.
  • Oversee all stadium maintenance contracts for Buccaneers' areas, providing ongoing support for game-day operations and future construction initiatives.
  • Manage ad sign lighting, including installation, maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance during events.
  • Maintain the Miller Party Deck, Pirate Ship, and stadium faade to the highest safety and aesthetic standards.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, managing inventory and assisting all Buccaneers' entities with deliveries and access needs.
  • Conduct pre/post-game inspections of all stadium areas, including concession stands, locker rooms, press boxes, clubs, luxury suites, and service levels, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.
  • Lead pre-game testing for lighting, mechanical devices, and other operational systems to ensure readiness for game-day events.
  • Coordinate storm preparation efforts, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to secure the facility and ensure safety.
  • Lead and attend coordination meetings for events, BEO (Banquet Event Orders), and safety operations, ensuring seamless execution of stadium activities.
  • Review and approve invoices from the Tampa Bay Sports Authority (TSA), ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed terms.


Management Responsibilities
  • The employee is responsible for managing the Facilities department and directing the work of its employees, vendors, and contractors.
  • Employee is also responsible for staffing the department and the management of employee performance, including hiring appropriate staff, conducting regular performance reviews, and, if necessary, terminating staff in conjunction with human resources.


Skills & Abilities
  • Must be very knowledgeable in facilities management, construction, and capital projects.


Experience & Education
  • Minimum of ten (10) years engineering, mechanical, and facilities or construction management experience as well as a broad knowledge and strong familiarity with oversight of construction and facilities expansion/management required.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a Manager or Director of Engineering, Facilities, or Construction position is preferred.

The Company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environmental conditions:
  • Extended evening and weekend work hours are sometimes required. Required to work all home and some away games. May work occasionally on holidays.
  • Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines.
  • Computer and desk work are a significant part of daily activities.
  • Sitting, standing, and working with hands for extended periods of time.
  • Rarely is lifting more than 20 pounds required.
