Who you are:

As our staff data scientist, you'll lead the data team, develop data-driven strategies, and leverage advanced analytics to improve our products and business decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to support Product, Sales, and Engineering with actionable insights.

What you'll do:
  • Build and lead a centralized data team, overseeing data science, engineering, and analytics functions
  • Develop and implement models for cloud cost forecasting, optimization, and pricing
  • Create data pipelines and integrate tools like Airflow, DBT, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Work with GTM data from systems like Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Build live dashboards and reports using tools such as Hex or Sigma
  • Conduct advanced data science work using Jupyter, SciPy, XGBoost, and other relevant libraries
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to support data-driven decision making
  • Provide insights for cloud usage planning and budgeting
  • Represent the data science discipline throughout the organization

Who you are:
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles
  • Strong data engineering background with experience in Airflow/Dagster/Argo, DBT, Docker, Kubernetes, and Spark/Databricks/EMR
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and working with Snowflake
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other GTM systems
  • Familiar with dashboard creation tools like Hex or Sigma
  • Background in Jupyter-based data science work (SciPy, XGBoost, etc.)
  • Experience in deep learning (PyTorch) or LLMs (Langchain) is a plus
  • Worked cross-functionally to support various business units with data-driven insights
  • Experience in quantitative finance, pricing, or risk data analysis is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Masters or higher in a quantitative field
