Staff Pediatrician

Title: Staff Pediatrician
Location: Hartford, CT
Job Type: Full-time/Permanent, Part-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pediatrician to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents. The Pediatrician will deliver diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in alignment with current clinical standards and collaborate closely with other providers in the department to ensure coordinated care. This role also involves participation in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities to promote excellence in patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to deliver integrated patient care
• Refer patients to specialists or consults as clinically necessary
• Participate in departmental quality improvement activities and peer review processes
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records and documentation
• Stay up to date with current clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices
• Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Valid license to practice medicine in the applicable state
• Eligible for DEA and controlled substance registration
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
