Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring a Staff Pharmacist to our team! This positionis responsible for the safe and appropriate use of medications and is an advocate of rational drug therapy by evaluating appropriate, cost-effective drug utilization while maintaining and enhancing patient care. Duties:

Provides consultative services to patients and the medical staff Provides immunizations Assists with pharmacy claims adjudication and rejections Collaborates with Clinic providers to assist with pharmacist-managed clinics and educational initiatives Additional responsibilities include quality improvement efforts, clinical documentation, and reporting as needed

Qualifications:

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position. Must align with OKCICvision, mission and core values Graduate of accredited college or university with a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D) Current Oklahoma Pharmacist License, immunization license, and preceptor license Minimum 3 years of pharmacy retail experience Preferred experience with pharmacy automation Preferred experience in delivering Medication Therapy Management services Strong analytical and clinical skills; exceptional collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in patient education, quality improvement, and community health initiatives Experience with pharmacy claims adjudication and rejections Advanced knowledge of computer software including but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications
