Responsibilities:
- Participate as part of a team of psychologists in completing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, including administering parent interviews, developmental/cognitive testing, academic testing, adaptive behavior assessment, and the ADOS-2.
- Provide training and supervision to psychological practicum trainees, who are graduate students enrolled in doctoral psychology programs in the region.
- Use positive engagement and behavioral strategies to conduct testing with young children with significant behavioral difficulties and developmental delays.
- Attend all required training to enhance skills and meet Agency guidelines and as required by the State of MI, COA, and other agencies governing the operation of the Agency.
- Participate in required supervision, agency meetings and other specialized meetings based upon this position.

- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in writing integrated psychological evaluation reports, including test interpretation, clinical formulation, and recommendations.
- Experience with children diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) required; preference for candidates with previous ADOS-2 training and experience, but training can be provided.
- Must have a license (LP or LLP-D) in the state of Michigan for the coordinating degree and maintain licensure throughout employment. Meet and maintain eligibility criteria as a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) as outlined in the MDHHS Qualification Guidelines.
- Experience with assessment and/or therapy with children under 6 strongly preferred.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication, basic computer skill related to windows navigation, and Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
- Minimum of one year of psychological testing experience with children, including full test administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized cognitive ability tests such as the WISC-V.
- Must provide clearance that there is no record and/or convictions as a perpetrator of child abuse/and or neglect on the State of MI Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, automobile insurance and a clear driving record.
- Clinical experience required with children and youth with developmental/intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral and emotional disorders.
