The Role:
We're looking for a mission-driven Staff Recruiter to help build and scale our Care Transformations team-Ambience's go-to-market and implementation arm. You'll partner directly with leadership to develop foundational recruiting processes, bring in top-tier talent across multiple functions (sales, integrations, support, and more), and shape the candidate experience from first outreach to close. This is a high-impact, builder-focused role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, zero-to-one environments.
What You'll Do:
Pay Transparency
We offer a base compensation range of approximately $140,000-$200,000 per year, exclusive of equity. This intentionally broad range provides flexibility for candidates to tailor their cash and equity mix based on individual preferences. Our compensation philosophy prioritizes meaningful equity grants, enabling team members to share directly in the impact they help create. What You'll Do:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for a wide range of Care Transformation roles-including account management, implementations, and customer success
- Develop scalable sourcing strategies using AI tools, referrals, social channels, and agency partnerships to keep a strong and diverse pipeline.
- Standardize and optimize hiring processes by launching structured scorecards, interviewer trainings, and workflow automations in Ashby.
- Lead candidate experience and closing strategy, ensuring every candidate feels informed, valued, and excited throughout the process.
- Act as a strategic talent partner to leadership by aligning on org design, forecasting hiring needs, and embedding talent strategy into team planning.
- You've led full-cycle recruiting efforts in early-stage startups, especially in environments where you've had to sell candidates on the vision
- You're a 0-to-1 operator-comfortable building systems, processes, and documentation from scratch in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment.
- You've successfully hired across a range of functions, including GTM (sales, account management), support, and technical roles, and understand how to evaluate for both skill and team fit.
- You're deeply outcome-oriented-motivated by clear goals, measurable progress, and tangible hiring results.
- You have excellent communication skills and know how to adapt your style across candidates, hiring managers, and execs.
- You bring a first-principles mindset to everything you do and aren't afraid to question assumptions or pressure-test decisions.
- You're resilient and resourceful-you find ways to make progress even when things get messy or unclear.
- You've built and run inclusive, high-bar hiring processes using tools like Ashby and structured scorecards.
- You care deeply about the candidate experience and won't let strong talent fall through the cracks.
