We are seeking a Staff Research Scientist with expertise in metabolomics, metabolite identification, and mass spectrometry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing LC-MS-based methods, troubleshooting instrumentation, processing complex data, and creating SOPs for metabolite and lipid identification.

The Staff Scientist must possess, at a minimum, the U.S. equivalent Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate discipline, and will often have a Ph.D. or other doctoral level degree.

We are seeking a Staff Research Scientist with expertise in metabolomics, metabolite identification, and mass spectrometry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing LC-MS-based methods, troubleshooting instrumentation, processing complex data, and creating SOPs for metabolite and lipid identification.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Design, coordinate, and execute research projects focused on stool microbiome metabolomics.
- Optimize sample preparation, analytical conditions, and data processing workflows.
- Manage mass spectrometry projects, maintain sample logs, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop data processing and analysis pipelines.
- Present findings at meetings, draft figures and manuscripts, and assist in manuscript submissions.
- Contribute to grant proposal writing and actively engage in scientific discussions.
