Summary: The Statewide Hope Director of the Illinois Crisis Prevention Network (ICPN) provides overall administrative and clinical leadership to Hope ICPN Support Service Teams (SST) while overseeing daily functions of ICPN. Manages three teams located in Rockford, Hillside and Springfield Illinois, ensuring best practices in clinical interventions and a dedicated investment into providing individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) and developmental disabilities (DD) the opportunity to live in least restrictive environments.

Hope is a multi-state non-profit that provides clinical, education and residential services to individuals with disabilities across age spans. ICPNs mission is to bridge the gap between crisis management and crisis prevention by providing support and stability for children and adults experiencing behavioral, mental health, and/or medical challenges, so they may live and flourish in their community.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology , applied behavior analysis, or related field. Must have valid clinical licensure in Illinois (LCP, LCSW, LCPC or BCBA).
• 5 plus years of experience in behavioral health management required.
• Five plus years' experience working with DD/ID population.
• Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams to work in a high stress/high impact environment.
• Willingness to travel to various work sites and provider agencies in a flexible setting.
• Comfort in working professionally with people from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience making data driven decisions to solve complex problems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Oversee the case management and crisis response supports for individuals in crisis as outlined by the Department of Human Services Developmental Disabilities Division.
• Provide guidance and training for SST teams in developing action plans, personal support plans, behavior plans and implementing interventions in the least restrictive setting.
• Develop strategies for supporting the families, guardians and community providers of the individuals served through ICPN, including but not limited to, identifying training needs or clinical deficits, and fostering conflict resolution in cases of agency or guardian resistance or noncompliance.
• Manage and serve as statewide provider of ICPN training initiatives, developing and overseeing the presentation of topics and professional development initiatives and CEUs across industry platforms.

• Experienced and respected keynote speaker or conference presenter
• Fluent in best practices, treatments, and interventions across diverse and vulnerable populations
• Demonstrated experience with trauma informed care
