Trego / Dugan Aviation is seeking motivated and qualified candidate/s to join our expanding Airline and Ground Handling [AGH] Safety and Security. This role will require travel -- up to 75% with extended stays out of town -- and will also be working in the TDA operation of their home base while not on-the-road.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and all management personnel throughout the Company. The Station Support Manager must promote Safety above all else, lead by example, exemplifying integrity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Coordinates and assists local management to achieve superior performance results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs, supervises, and executes station startup support plan including all technical, operational, and administrative functions assigned.
Assigns responsibility for executing startup support plan to key local stakeholders to utilizing qualifications and strengths.
Provides input to performance reviews and development plans to General Manager, support responsibilities may include employee relations, local procurement, and payroll operations, etc., if required.
Promotes technical and operational excellence through application of standardized processes. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of activity within the startup/support, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect startup/support schedule.
Provides leadership and direction to General Managers and staff members to ensure the continued development and management of an efficient operation
Work collaboratively with operational leadership and represented workgroups to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
Manage multiple projects, provide status updates on performance against support plans and meet delivery targets. Creates and promotes a positive, inclusive work environment that supports consistency throughout the organization's strategic and operational methods
Establishes weekly meeting to review new startup status and formulate action items Understand budgets and assist managers with the creation of budgets.
Understand scheduling and assist managers with the creation of schedules. Serve as acting general manager or in any station agent capacity as needed
Evaluates and supervises customer service and ramp procedures safety and compliance. Audit station records; identify discrepancies, errors and schedule corrective action and training.
Conducts follow-up and compliance audits to ensure process improvement and corrective/preventive action implementation and effectiveness.
Provides needed support to the local training group
Conduct Ground Service Equipment (GSE) training on all motorized equipment.
Must have cross-product knowledge and capabilities.
Must have cross-product knowledge, training, and capabilities across various TDA services. Including to conduct airline mandated required training in station start-ups and station support
Review and analyze hazards and present feedback to management. Make recommendations to mitigate identified safety issues. Manage implementation of corrective and preventative actions as needed or required.
Monitor compliance with applicable regulatory safety standards (FAA, TSA, FDA, OSHA).
Routinely promote safety and security through conducting Stop Work, Airline and Safety Audits in Coruson.
Conduct safety incident investigations with station management.
Publish and review educational safety material such as Monthly Safety Meetings, and Workshops.
Communicate trends, observations, and issues to TDA Safety and Security Team.
Attend airport safety meetings as required.
Conduct "Safety and Security induction" for new employees. Establish standard safety expectations.
Participate in all external safety audits.
Acts as liaison with safety organizations (formal and informal) on matters of industry safety concerns.
Request assistance when needed from the regional Safety and Security Manager.
Work schedules will span over 24/7 operation which includes weekends and holidays. Flexible work shifts will be assigned and can include late nights and early mornings.
Completes other ad hoc duties as assigned by Managing Director of Operations
