The Statistical Analyst/Sr. Statistical Analyst will primarily private statistical methodology and analytical support for all medical affairs projects by collaborating with the medical affairs, clinical research, and Biometrics teams
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively utilizing innovation methodology to analyze the data from completed studies to support publication plan, or other lifecycle management projects, such as IST, RWD/RWE.
- Performing data mining and exploratory data analysis,, and be accountable for the statistics deliverables
- Understand the disease area and disease guidelines, and evaluating the data from the competitive landscaping
- May work with external collaborators such as academic or CROs.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ph.D. (or Master) in Biostatistics, Statistics, with 2 years (5 years for Master) of experience in the support of clinical studies in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of statistical methodology, analysis, and clinical trial requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with statistical software SAS, R or Python
- Knowledge of CDISC standard
- Understanding of FDA/EU statistical guidelines; experience interacting with regulators
- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to the changing needs of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication (oral and written) skills

- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk; sit; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Some travel may be required.
