Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Act as second level escalation point for all overall storage issues and functionality.
Should own the incident, and work with L3 and other teams to completely resolve the issues and document the procedures.
Overview all the incidents, problems, Changes in Storage track and ensure all SLA's/KPI's are met.
Dell Powerflex, Unity, Isilon, VNxe, SAN, NAS, Netapp, Dell ScaleIO, Dell Viper administration and support
Provisioning, Commissioning & decommissioning storage appliance.
Patching and upgrading firmware upgrades.
Performing on demand DR activities.
NETAPP FAS and E-series administration and support
Strong Troubleshooting skills on Storage environment.
Strong working knowledge of storage technologies (i.e., SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel, Enterprise Storage Arrays, Data Replication, HSM).
Storage Administration in multiple Client and Unix environments, hardware and operating systems.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Experience in Cisco MDS and Brocade Switches.
Creating Templates from VMs, deploy VMs from templates and allocate resources
Experience in Windows/Client/Linux OS platforms will be an added avantage
Essential:
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 operations

Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
