The Sr. Procurement Analyst will be responsible for managing the sector transportation and freight category, which consists of over 21,000 shipments totaling $2.4m. This position serves as the primary liaison between Sector and Inc (corporate) regarding freight and transportation. The Sr. Procurement Analyst should have the ability to conduct moderate to complex planning and procurement actions for various government programs in accordance with prime contracts, FAR, DFAR, company policies, CPSR requirements, a working knowledge of supplier quality protocol, electronic counterfeit parts protocol and GIDEP protocol.
The individual should be able to prioritize, schedule and analyze material/service requirements; initiate RFQs/RFPs; review bids; select suppliers; negotiate terms and conditions; pricing of materials/services to be procured; and issuance and maintenance of purchase orders utilizing Deltek Cost Point.
The Sr. Procurement Analyst will coordinate demand requirements to ensure supply plans align with demand plans. This position will monitor key performance indicators, analyze performance data, and coordinate cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness and productivity of supply chain initiatives and transportation initiatives. As a Sr. Procurement Analyst, this position requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of the planning and supply chain processes and is capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure program success. Plans, organizes, and prioritizes team responsibilities to accomplish objectives. Drives continuous improvement philosophy and approach to problem solving and process improvement.

Required Skills and Education
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of the planning, supply chain processes, supply chain roles and responsibilities, category management, supplier quality and is capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure program success
- Proven capability working in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, One Note, etc.)
- Proven capability working in ERP environment
