SUMMARY
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for growing revenue by generating leads, prospecting for new clients, and optimizing revenue opportunities within existing accounts. This position is required to regularly exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills to take ownership of assigned customers and attain revenue and profitability goals for the business segment.

This position is required to regularly exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills to take ownership of assigned customers and attain revenue and profitability goals for the business segment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain effective relationship with customers by communicating extensively over the phone, and via email in a professional manner.
- Identify prospective clients through engaging in lead generating activities as well as working with inside sales team/outside sales team, and initiate contact with prospective clients.
- Maintain relationships with existing client base, and propose additional services within the account.
- Develop strategic account plan to optimize revenue within each account.
- Direct the sales support team in activities to execute strategic plan.
- Provide data and analytics regarding key performance indicators, and ensure accurate reporting is available for internal and external client review.
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues to ensure all SLAs are being met and that customer satisfaction is high.
- Prioritize as required, which may require selecting from several alternatives, to best service the customer's needs.
- Resolve inquiries, investigate complaints, and alert team members to the existence of, and seeks resolution to, any issues pertaining to the account.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Field or construction scheduling and dispatch
- Cross-functional collaboration with inside sales, field supervisors, and customers
- Consultative sales and closing
- Prospecting and lead generation using various sources, including social media
- Proficiency in using MS office suite and CRM tools to manage workload.
- Ability to multitask within job duties
- Construction knowledge strongly preferred
- Strong work history is required
