About our Team:

The Clinical Solutions Division of Elsevier leverages industry-leading intellectual property and content to create products for healthcare professionals, including Clinical and Drug Reference, Patient Engagement, Performance Management, Workflow, and Decision Support tools. These products aid in disease management, medication error reduction, workflow improvements, effective patient management, and economic analysis and cost control.

About the Role:

The Clinical Solutions Division of Elsevier is seeking a Strategic Channel Executive to manage and grow partner relationships crucial to the success of our Clinical Solutions strategy. These partners may include integration partners and value-added resellers of Clinical Solutions Content, Tools, and Services. The Strategic Channel Executive will collaborate with Commercial and Informatics Leaders to execute go-to-market strategies and work with the field sales organization to educate and inform them on the status of strategic partnerships and solution integration.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute the Clinical Solutions go-to-market strategy with strategic partners.
  • Identify co-development opportunities to optimize client experiences.
  • Educate Clinical Solutions on partner activities, trends, and strategies.
  • Foster executive relationships to maintain ongoing communication and collaboration.
  • Drive new business growth and maintain existing revenue.
  • Monitor partner satisfaction to ensure priority positioning of Elsevier offerings.
  • Develop and execute strategic account business plans.
  • Build strong partner relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate across Elsevier to deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Commercial Leads on channel-specific materials.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and timely reporting.
  • Operate within an assigned expense budget.


Requirements:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree: advanced technical, clinical degree, or MBA preferred.
  • Have experience developing complex partnerships in Healthcare IT, Medical Informatics, or Clinical Decision Support.
  • Demonstrate understanding of business processes of leading EMR vendors such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, MEDITECH, or broader Healthcare Information Technology vendors.
  • Have proven track record in negotiating complex agreements.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Have the ability to excel in a matrix and global organization.
  • Be highly organized with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Have excellent project management skills in understanding and executing agreements, workstream requirements, roadmaps, joint marketing, and action items.
  • Be able to meet travel requirements, estimated at 25-40% for customer appointments, trade shows, and company meetings.
  • Position can be based out of any major metropolitan area with easy access to a major airport.
