As the Strategic Growth Leader for the Public Safety Division at Cooke & Associates, Inc., you'll lead high-impact business development initiatives, build trust-based partnerships, and uncover forward-thinking opportunities to expand our presence in the public safety space. Your leadership will position CAI as the go-to partner for innovative, mission-ready solutions that serve agencies and communities across the country.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand Cooke & Associate Inc.'s presence in the public safety sector.
  • Build and sustain long-term partnerships with municipal, state, and federal stakeholders by understanding and addressing their unique needs.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and industry expert on CAI's Public Safety service offerings.
  • Educate prospects on CAI's solutions through calls, emails, and web presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored public safety programs that achieve measurable results.
  • Represent Cooke & Associates Inc. at industry forums, panels, and conferences, establishing thought leadership in public safety.
  • Perform follow-up from marketing events, conferences, trade shows, email campaigns, and website inquiries.
  • Drive division growth by identifying new service opportunities and enhancing existing client relationships.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven leadership success in public safety, preferably at the rank of Lieutenant or above.
  • Extensive experience in law enforcement or fire services, with a background in managing specialty units, divisions, or critical incidents.
  • Have previously managed or been involved with natural disasters, large-scale emergencies, and significant public safety events.
  • Deep understanding of both the public and private sectors, particularly in the intersection of government and private security solutions.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions without waiting for direction.
  • Adaptable and quick-thinking, able to adjust to changing priorities while staying focused on deadlines.
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal, who can interact professionally with executives, command staff, and external contacts.
  • Able to anticipate needs and take action without being told what to do next.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to inspire trust and collaboration.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for developing solutions that address complex public safety challenges.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in high-stakes environments.
  • Proactive, innovative, and resourceful in identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional acumen with the ability to build strong rapport with stakeholders.
  • Coachable and adaptable, eager to learn and grow.
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required. Prefer master's degree.
