Description:

The Strategic Planning & Operations group is looking for an experienced business leader to help drive organizational planning, initiatives, and overall operational rigor for our monetization market launch strategy efforts at Meta. This leader will partner with our Marketing Science specialist team, many cross-functional teams, including Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Business Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering. The primary objective of the role is to drive efficient revenue growth and acceleration through our Marketing Science team. This role requires someone who is switching context and working on a diverse range of tasks, including, but not limited to, operating model and resource design, coordination and leadership of critical projects across the company, business goal definition, internal communications, ad hoc in-depth dive analysis, and making decisions within a group environment.

Strategic Planning & Operations Lead, Marketing Science Responsibilities

  • Optimize the Marketing Science operating model and resourcing to maximize coverage and opportunities
  • Frame decisions and contribute a point of view on how to drive operational rigor & acceleration
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies
  • Develop an understanding of the business and be the person who can connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Combine qualitative information with data analytics to make comprehensive recommendations
  • Drive key leadership and cross-functional meetings to facilitate alignment on opportunities and issues to address
  • Lead business reviews for the Marketing Science leadership team to drive decision-making and review progress on goals and priorities (e.g. monthly/quarterly business reviews, sales pipeline reviews). Present to an Executive audience.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Product leaders and internal stakeholders on key business initiatives, programs, and special projects


Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, finance, or similar sales strategy and operations roles
  • Experience leading strategy, operations, process improvement, and tactical projects. Experience solving complex business problems (commercial, operational, organizational) and driving projects from strategy to execution
  • Leadership and influencing skills - experience leading/influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plans in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
  • Demonstrated experience of proactively identifying new opportunities for the larger organization & influencing the appropriate people, managing multiple large scale projects and driving operational efficiency initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated program management skills including goal setting, action planning, risk management, milestone / action tracking, KPI tracking, progress reporting and communications
  • Demonstrated experience in spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets) and presentations (e.g. PowerPoint, Slides)
  • Experience shifting priorities, balancing multiple initiatives at once, and maintaining organization


Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or graduate degree
  • Experience in technology industry
  • Experience developing and overseeing advanced quantitative analysis and deriving actionable insights

$152,000/year to $214,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
