The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $85,788- $128,682/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support Director Indirect Procurement on corporate & regional projects through strategic procurement planning and implementation. Represent the company in dealings with Indirect supplier partners and customers.
- Lead Indirect Procurement strategy and functional team support with categories ranging from MRO, Professional Services (HR, IT, Travel) to Capital. Lead projects by acting as a liaison between internal team members.
- Assist and develop Indirect team to effectively manage $500+ million of overall category spend, while standardizing corporate policies and procedures for effective procurement across all plants and external suppliers.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of functional goals and objectives.
- Identify and drives best practices within total supply chain, including the development of supplier and supply related metrics.
- Provide SAP training for plant MRO procurement peers and cross functional team members on MRO related best practices as necessary.
Required Competencies & Knowledge:
Knowledge of:
- Knowledge of contract fundamentals, ability to effectively understand and negotiate contract terms that benefit Maker's Pride
- Planning, products, and production processes
- Knowledge and experience with SAP
Skilled in:
- Negotiating commercial terms with vendors and ensure contracts, orders, or SOWs for purchases adequately capture agreed upon commercial terms
- Indirect procurement- MRO, facilities services, professional services, travel, IT, etc
- Experienced in conflict resolution
- Prioritizing work based on short and long term objectives
- Successfully analyzing and presenting data to multiple levels of the organization
- Influence and project management
Ability to:
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Successfully multi-task
- Ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies and Hearthside staff.
- Lead 'best in class' behaviors with focus on safety, quality, and policy focus
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in MRO, Professional Services and the procurement and supply chain fields preferred.
- Proven results in sourcing initiatives, cost reductions, and improving supplier service and performance.
- Experience as a project manager.
- Ability to lead cost analysis process - identify and collect inputs, develop appropriate calculations to determine payback, understand cost savings and/or cost avoidance calculations, develops concise and comprehensive reports, presents proposed next steps with supporting rationale, executes plan.
- Experienced in cross-functional, influence management
- MS Office Suite and SAP
- This is a remote role but this person MUST be located in the Chicagoland area for easy access to our corporate headquarters or plants. This role will require less than 10% travel.
