Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for functions associated with the reporting and data analytics strategy / architecture requirements within Enterprise Data and Reporting Team of the Bank. This position will create and guide overall data strategy including data footprint, data integration / transformation level, metadata and reference data management, data access, and data recoverability etc. This position will also work with data and reporting analysts within the team to ensure that all reporting / analytics deliverables have the proper documentation ensuring reliability of results over time. Additionally, this position will represent the reporting and analytic needs to the IT team on tools, data storage, data flow, data quality checks, and access rights, etc.

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for functions associated with the reporting and data analytics strategy / architecture requirements within Enterprise Data and Reporting Team of the Bank. Primary Duties:
- Prepare and deliver overall data strategy and data architecture to support Bell Bank's reporting / analytical needs.
- Assist in data projects coordination, creation of common metadata repository and reference data management infrastructure.
- Work with data and reporting analysts within the team to create and maintain common process and required documentation for all reporting related deliverables.
- Perform data quality spot checks as well as prepare for areas of future concerns re data reusage, customer and account merge / split scenarios, historical data restatement etc. and provide approach / solution to handle those.
- Maintain a high level of competency on core deposits and loans portfolio management applications, data sources, and reporting tools including FiServ/Signature, CreditQuest, Nautilus, Cognos, and Power BI.
- Work with the IT team on tools, data storage, data flow, data quality checks, access rights, and retention requirements etc.
- Act as liaison on special projects to advance the Bank's infrastructure, management information systems, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.

- Prompt and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Required:
- M.A or M.S. related to Business or Reporting and Data Analytics preferred and/or equivalent experience.
- Related 10+ years of financial industry experience, preferably in a data strategy / data analytic role.
- Ability to understand business goals and objectives of various Lines of Business (LOBs) within the Bank and translate them into reporting / analytics needs and infrastructure needed to support them.
- Ability to analyze complex organizational and technical issues related to data and process and to identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
- Experience in representing high level data concepts and details to internal executives and external regulatory agencies.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in financial modeling, workflow design and report writing software preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Data Management and Reporting / Analytics toolset (e.g., Cognos, PowerBI etc.) preferred.
- Ability to balance best practice methodologies and complex business requirements in creating efficient solutions.
- Detail oriented with outstanding analytical skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members in data, reporting, and analytics domain.
- High aptitude and interest in working with the business users to analyze processes and derive business requirements.
