The Opportunity:

The role of the Manager in the Strategy department will be to support key corporate initiatives, at the direction of the US CEO, that may span all parts of the organization including different business units and functions. The Manager will work closely with senior members of the strategy department. Key tasks will include activities that are typical of an in-house consultant, including: project management, identification & development of attractive partnership and, inorganic growth opportunities, development of mid-to-long term corporate strategic plans and various ad-hoc assignments from the US CEO.

As the Strategy Manager, you will:

The Manager will work on some of the highest-level, and highest-impact projects taking place in the US organization. In addition, the Manager will interact directly with top leadership in LG US. Accordingly, the position requires a high-degree of professionalism, integrity and capability.

Team leaders will provide direction about priorities and deadlines. The Manager will have latitude to develop creative deliverables. We are looking for someone to take ownership of problems and transform loosely-defined situations into concrete plans and actions.

The ideal candidate for the Manager role would possess a high-degree of general knowledge about business, technology, economics. The candidate should demonstrate a record of high academic and professional achievement

The Manager must possess strong written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to tailor his/her communication method and style appropriately to the task at hand. The candidate should exhibit the good judgement and attention to detail required to produce polished, professional effective communications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required, masters preferred.
10 years experience in a management consulting, strategic planning, or corporate development role is required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel/ Power Point.
