The Position
Portland Streetcar is looking for a Streetcar Maintenance Supervisor
Job Appointment: Full time. Regular.
Work Schedule: Training Schedule then Wednesday - Friday 1400 - 0030, Saturday 1300-2330. Beginning April 2025 all manager and supervisor positions will be expected to report to their worksites full time.

- Plan, organize, manage, and optimize the work of staff engaged in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Streetcar vehicles and associated assets.
- Monitor employees' work performance, assist with training, coach, and work through the discipline process when needed.
- Manage employee time entries, perform compliance and preventative maintenance checks, and schedule overtime/holiday work when needed.
- Be creative, innovative, and collaborate with team members and partners to achieve the best outcomes for the City.
- Physically troubleshoot and repair streetcar vehicles and assets.
- Sustain a culture of safety, organizational excellence, stewardship, and professionalism.
