Structural Engineer III

Moffatt & Nichol has an opening for a Structural Engineer III in New York, NY. Job duties include: Plan, analyze, and design submarine systems and waterfront structures projects, including marinas, vessel mooring, berthing, and protection structures. Assist with resolving design problems, including detailed checking of design computations done by others. Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience. Requires 3 years of experience in following occupation: Civil Engineers or related occupations. Must have knowledge and experience with/in: Designing marine structures related to ports, marinas, vessel mooring, berthing, and protection structures; Developing plans using AutoCAD, calculation packages, and specifications; Developing and reviewing 3D models; Developing and reviewing MTOs for the wharf structures; Utilizing MathCAD, SAP2000, or LPile; and Finite Element modeling. Must have Professional Engineer License. Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer. Annual salary is $86,133.00 to $154,517.00.
