Structural Engineer (PE)

Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) to join a well-established firm in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a professional with expertise in Florida single-family residential projects, including wood and masonry structures, framing systems, and foundation analysis and design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and certification of residential and commercial projects.
• Perform structural calculations, foundation analysis, and prepare project details.
• Oversee project coordination, ensuring on-time and budget-friendly delivery.
• Support construction activities, including RFIs, submittals, and site reviews.
• Manage staff, direct tasks, and ensure quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Florida PE License with 3-5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, Microsoft Office Suite, and Risa 3D.
• Expertise in Florida & International Building Codes.
• Experience with concrete construction (up to three stories), wood trusses, engineered wood products, and steel, wood, and masonry structures.

Preferred:

• Experience with Revit is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $90K-$120K (DOE)
