The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a faculty member to serve as the Director of the Center for Early Device and Procedural Innovation within the Smith Institute at BIDMC. The candidate must have a national reputation for procedural excellence in structural heart interventions and deep experience with new device investigation and innovation. S/he must also have a strong track record in acquiring NIH and/or industry support. The candidate will serve as a clinical member of the structural heart section and will be expected to perform the full range of standard and advanced structural heart procedures. The applicant is expected to be actively engaged in clinical research as well as the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students. All candidates must qualify for the rank of Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School.
