Structural Project Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a California-licensed Structural Engineer to work on various structural engineering projects, evaluating, selecting and adapting standard techniques, procedures and design criteria; working closely with the management and Project Managers to prepare project documents; solving complex engineering problems; and coordinating with the CAD team.

Duties

• Complete engineering projects and tasks to the satisfaction of the Project Managers and clients
• Provide accurate and professional structural engineering calculations, reports, and details
• Understand project budgets to ensure alignment with company goals
• Resolve client disputes for engineering projects to ensure overall client satisfaction
• Responsible for engineering projects
• Manage workloads and drive teams under tight deadlines
• Confirm that the correct design and specification standards are being used

Requirements

• Education - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Civil preferred
• Structural Engineer - 5+ years of structural engineering design and analysis experience
• Certifications/License - California P.E./S.E.
• Project Experience - 5+ years experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, tilt-up and wood-framed Commercial, Retail, Residential, Light Industrial and Government buildings and structures in Southern California; Low-rise/Mid-rise
