Overview
The Student Clinical Education Manager will lead the management and execution of student Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Athletic Training programs for ATI including developing, coordinating and managing the organizational structure and delivery of student experiences throughout the ATI platform. The primary responsibility of this person will be to align student availability and placement across the company; design and implement practice initiatives to drive student educator participation, quality, and competence; develop, manage, and grow relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; engage in continuing education related to student clinical rotations, internships, and observations; manage conflict; and be up to date with educational requirements of clinical practice.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director of University Recruitment, the Student Clinical Experience Manger will direct, organize, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate the clinical education program
o Coordinate part-time and full-time student placements (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, AT) for clinic operations, sports medicine, and worksite solutions
Develop, deliver, and assign training material to both student educators and students while ensuring appropriate follow up
o Implement development activities for clinical/student educators
o Onboarding students to clinical sites
Maintain communication with university partners
o Availability of clinical education experiences
o Usage of student scheduling platform
o Site specific requirements
o Student/Site concerns during experience
o Act as liaison between ATI Physical Therapy and academic institutions for materials, creative assets and supplies that will be used during student experiences
Serve as the main point of contact for all university/college contracts and partner closely with ATI legal and TA teams to ensure these are appropriately reviewed and signed.
Communicate student program volume with internal stakeholders and local leaders making decisions
Confirm all necessary forms are available and complete to ensure internship and observation programs support the business.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Required:
Bachelor's in Healthcare related field or Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant
Preferred:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Minimum Experience
Required:
2 years of clinical practice
Experience working with cross-functional partners and indirectly leading others
Preferred:
2 or more years of coordinating or managing programs or multiple projects
Experience using iCIMS ATS/CRM, Dayforce, and EXXAT
Previous leadership experience
Experience in engagement with healthcare faculty at colleges/universities
Prior experience working with students pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Associates in Physical Therapist Assistant, Master's/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, and/or Master's/Doctorate in Athletic Training
Prior experience working with university partners in clinical affiliation placements for student PT, PTA, OT, and AT
