Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. In this role, you will:
  • Procure materials, equipment, supplies and services for complex aerospace electronics based on program-specific requirements and specifications.
  • Support the development of supplier statements of work/specifications for multiple contract types while adhering to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
  • Develop supplier evaluation criteria, negotiate subcontract provisions, select and recommend suppliers, and support the generation of subcontract packages for review, approval, and awards to suppliers. In addition, support the negotiation of additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • Ultimately responsible for managing the cost, quality, technical, and delivery performance of appointed suppliers while building effective relationships with both suppliers and internal/external customers.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and 8 years or more of directly related work experience preferably in a government contracting environment.
  • Significant experience developing, defining, and ensuring compliance with key contractual requirements (statements of work, drawings/specifications, contractual terms & conditions, prime contract flow downs, etc.).
  • Experience in negotiating Terms & Conditions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to accomplish objectives in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition policies / procedures and demonstrated experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Must be eligible for DoD Secret Clearance.


Preferred Skills and Education

  • Proactively identify risk and develop appropriate mitigation plans; Development of root cause and corrective actions plans
  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teammates (i.e. Contracts, Engineering, Quality, Program Managers, Finance, Compliance, etc.) and key internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management regarding subcontract performance (i.e. cost, schedule, risks & opportunities, etc.) as well as performance to key financial objectives
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle ERP.
  • Secret Clearance. (Active/Unexpired)
