The Position: We are looking for a candidate who will be performing the role of a Subcontracts Specialist - Senior, supporting the contracts team.

This position is contingent upon award.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually, based upon an individual's level of experience, skillset, and education. The Description:

Duties/responsibilities include:

• Independently administers, negotiates and monitors various types of subcontracts, i.e. level of effort cost reimbursement type contracts (CPFF, CPAF, etc.); time and materials (T&M); indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ); firm fixed price (FFP); and other Agreements.
• Facilitates pre-award and post-award subcontract activities in support of company programs.
• Reviews subcontractor cost proposals and performs cost analyses with minimal guidance from supervisor except for unique situations.
• Works closely with Contracts Team, Program Team, and subcontractors, regarding funding and budgetary issues for each program.
• Monitors subcontract budgets and supports budget formations.
• Negotiates and issues subcontract modifications.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload to accomplish organizational goals.
• Communicates with subcontractors and vendors on routine administrative functions.
• Serve as Department Lead, responding to Contracts and Executive leadership
• Provides assistance, as required, to Contracts Managers, Contracts Specialists, and Pricing Specialists
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in related discipline with three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience working with Contracts Administration.
• Knowledge of key Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and/or Other Transaction Agreement contract principles, preferred.
• Exceptional computer skills, with an emphasis on the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experienced Deltek Costpoint skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, to co-workers and team members.
• Experience working as a team member engaged in tasks requiring teamwork and performance to schedules.
• Ability to serve external and internal customers and prioritize these responsibilities, to meet deadlines.

Travel:

• In rare occasions, travel may be required.
