Degree Requirements:
- Position is for a Structural Engineer, Subject Matter Expert, with experience in the design, testing, installation, maintenance, and alteration of in the area of Naval Ship HM&E systems, metallurgical evaluation, welding engineering, quality oversight, and structural inspections.
- Areas of experience preparing engineering design and installation drawings, and supporting calculations, instructions, and processes for US Navy HM&E systems. NDT Level III certification in the following: Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques to include Visual Testing (VT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (Wet and Dry Methods), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Eddy Current Inspection (ECI).
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Five (5) years of experience in the design, testing, installation, maintenance and alteration of Naval Ship HM&E systems, metallurgical evaluation, welding engineering, quality oversight, and structural inspections. NDT LEVEL III Certifications
- Experience with RT/VT with Computer Radiography and Digital Radiography knowledge (CR/DR) is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- A secret security clearance

- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
