Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial and industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to deliver successful commercial, healthcare, education, and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of construction sites
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradesmen
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Monitor project progress and report on performance
• Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality
• Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers regarding project updates
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all project phases
• Lead project meetings and maintain a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Experience self-performing or directly supervising concrete and/or carpentry construction teams.
• Experience leading healthcare, educational, corporate/commercial building, manufacturing, and/or retail projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Relevant certifications in construction management or similar fields
