JOB OBJECTIVE
The I&E Superintendent role within Norrell Construction will lead a team of foreman in the execution of overhead power infrastructure along with facilities and well pad electrical construction. The position will report the Project Manager and will have a team of foreman and consultants in the field executing on projects.

JOB OBJECTIVE
The I&E Superintendent role within Norrell Construction will lead a team of foreman in the execution of overhead power infrastructure along with facilities and well pad electrical construction. The position will report the Project Manager and will have a team of foreman and consultants in the field executing on projects.
REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE
- Must have 10-15 years or Managerial experience.
- Understanding of electrical construction and automation required.
- Must have a proven record of accomplishment in increasing operational efficiencies.
- Must be a self-starter, motivated, with good organizational & reasoning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-discipline professionals and individuals at all levels.
KNOWLEDGE
- Scope - Facility and well pad electrical construction and automation, Substation and Micro grid construction, Overhead power infrastructure to projects.
- Be a leader, help motivate, support, develop, trust, uplift, and encourage staff. Be their advocate.
- Understand the field development plan, forecast electrical work, and plan team resources accordingly.
- Lead team of electrical supervisors and allocate job roles and responsibility based upon their skill levels.
- Manage consultants, their schedule, job responsibilities and approve their invoices.
- Understand the basis of design for electrical construction projects and when change is needed.
- Ensure detailed operations procedures are in place for all phases of electrical processes.
- Understand and execute workflow from Pre-Drill to put on production.
- Coordinate with land on RTB and decide on construction start timing.
- Coordination with Projects Ops superintendents during SIMOPS on pad operations. (presets)
- Work with drilling and completions to communication construction schedules.
- Track and monitor KPI, for safety, time and cost performance leading to continuous improvement.
- Work with engineering tech to pull metrics and build an electrical scorecard/dashboard to track performance.
- Help QC engineering Scope of works and provide feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Help lead the bidding, procurement, and vendor selection process for projects.
- Work with environmental group to ensure all requirements and permitting are performed in accordance with guidelines.
- Provide constructive criticism to staff on their performance and communicate to Senior superintendent.
- Attend bi-weekly 1 on 1s with supervisor to discuss performance, execution, and opportunities.
- Expectations are to spend 25%-50% of time in the field.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Employees will be required to adhere to enormous amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
- Employees will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension.
- Will talk and hear to communicate.
- Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
- May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
- Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/ scaffolding using appropriate fall protection requirements.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
- Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
