We are looking for a Superintendent/Project Manager that requires significant travel to various job sites, and the ability to manage both field operations and office-based project management tasks.

Job Summary
The Superintendent/Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations and project management related to construction projects. This role ensures the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. The individual will lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and the construction team, and manage safety, quality, and compliance on site. A team leader with the ability to work well under pressure, this role combines both field supervision and project management responsibilities.
This role requires significant travel to various job sites, and the ability to manage both field operations and office-based project management tasks.
Responsibilities
Plan and sequence projects, scheduling subcontractors, vendors, and trades, while coordinating construction activities through the project schedule. Oversee safety orientations, weekly meetings, toolbox talks, pre-installation meetings, and participate in the RFI and submittal processes. Supervise stormwater management, inspections, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with ownership and design teams to recognize and resolve constructability issues. Provide strategic vision for field operations and project participants. Create and administer subcontracts, payment applications, project schedules, and safety and quality meetings. Lead project administration and document control, ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders. Provide team leadership, personnel management, and mentorship to junior staff. Maintain professional relationships among industry partners and facilitate project meetings between owners, subcontractors, and team members. Backfill for Superintendent and Project Engineer roles as needed.
Skills
Proficient in plan reading, problem solving, strategic planning, technical writing, critical thinking, and risk mitigation. Experience with reviewing and interpreting construction documents, along with writing and reading technical specifications. Software proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Office, Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams, AutoCad for plan viewing, and DocuSign. Strong background in contract negotiation, issue resolution, and project administration. Ability to identify and resolve issues early in the project lifecycle.

Oversees Assistant Superintendent, Project Engineer, and Interns.
