EveryMind Mental Health Services is currently recruiting for a strong clinically talented mental health professional, with leadership experience in the Child & Youth Mental Health Sector, to supervise Child & Family Clinicians within the Intensive Services department.
EveryMind is an accredited child and youth mental health organization that provides a continuum of high-quality mental health services for children, youth and their families who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing mental health issues.
Intensive Services is guided by the ARC (Attachment, Regulation, Competency) Framework in providing trauma-informed treatment to children and youth who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges through a continuum of intensive yet flexible evidence-informed/evidence-based interventions within a client's natural environment (in-home, in-school, in-community) or in EveryMind's Day and Live-In Treatment programs. Using both individual psychotherapy for the child or youth and family-focused, relationship-based approaches, including work specifically with the caregivers, Intensive Services works collaboratively with children, youth and their families toward mutually agreed upon goals. Intensive Services builds upon a families' formal/informal supports to increase coping with multiple and significant stressors.
Summary of Function
As the Supervisor, Clinical Services of the Intensive Services Program, the successful candidate will provide clinical and administrative supervision to a team of Child & Family Clinicians. They will facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to the provision of trauma-informed, attachment-based, direct, empirically-based treatment that includes CBT, EFFT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Modalities, providing individual and systems-related consultation, and identifying and providing professional development opportunities to staff, as needed.
The Supervisor, Clinical Services will participate in the continued development, implementation and evaluation of programs with the support of the Manager, Clinical Services. They will be required to hire, train, coach and mentor staff, monitor performance, and monitor program budgets and service reports. In addition, the incumbent will attend Management Team meetings as part of the larger leadership team, work collaboratively with other supervisors on agency-wide initiatives and take part in committees related to your program areas of responsibility.
This is a 14-month contract position to cover a parental leave, with a start date planned for July 2025.
Hiring Salary range: $86,746.81 - $93,825.35
Please note that hiring salaries are commensurate with experience and generally start at the beginning of the range.

Job Responsibilities
The incumbent will:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the implementation and maintenance of program specific service models and philosophies.
- Be responsible for hiring, training and coaching a team of Clinicians (Registered Social Workers and Psychotherapists), including day to day staffing operations and providing clinical supervision in keeping with requirements of the organization and various professional Colleges.
- Discuss the direction of clinical work with clinicians, ensuring individualized, comprehensive clinical assessments (using evidence-based assessment tools such as the InterRAI ChYMH) and treatment plans (embedding ChYMH outcomes and measures) are prepared for each client.
- Implement high quality treatment and consultation services designed to meet individual needs of clients and their families.
- Oversee the review and regular revision of treatment plans, ensuring adherence of evidence-based/evidence-informed modalities.
- Effectively maintain and manage program waitlist, triaging client need for service and optimizing efficiencies in clinician caseload capacities maintaining equitable workloads based on skills and abilities of front-line staff and organizational standards.
- Work collaboratively within the Intensive Services department, supporting advocacy to ensure services flexibly meet the unique needs of clients and families.
- Attend community and internal case conferences to support system and service planning for children and youth with complex mental health needs.
- Be responsible for program budget and approval of program expenses.
- Ensure compliance with the organization's reporting, clinical recording, statistics and data entry requirements.
- Work in collaboration with other departments in the organization including People & Culture, Finance and Administration, Decision Support, Continuous Improvement and Information Technology.
- Participate as a high functioning member of the clinical leadership team and contribute to sector and organizational projects and initiatives.
- Participate in supervisory On-Call roster as scheduled and in compliance with related policies, practices and procedures.
- Other related responsibilities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counselling Psychology with membership in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Must meet the requirements to provide clinical supervision to qualifying/registered members of the appropriate regulatory body such as College of Registered Psychotherapists and Ontario College of Social Workers & Social Service Workers.
- Three to five years directly related experience, one of which must have been at a supervisory level.
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical assessment/formulation, developmental trauma, attachment, evidence-based/evidence-informed therapeutic modalities including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EFFT and solution-focused models; group services; family systems.
- Well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Embraces diversity and demonstrated cultural awareness with critical self-awareness and understanding of engagement with the culture of children, youth and families.
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with others, developing and maintaining positive working relationships, display flexibility to the needs of program and the team.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Available to participate in on-call schedule overnight and weekends as required.
- Strong skills in report writing, client record documentation and experience with client care information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Ontario Driver's license (Class G) and use of a vehicle with comfort in driving throughout the Peel region (and surrounding areas).
- A Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical screening (including TB test, COVID-19 Vaccination, MMR, TD, Polio Vaccination), is required.
