WORK SCHEDULE
100% FTE - 40 hours per week
Day Shift - UW MEDICINE ITS SERVICES CORE HOURS ARE 08:00 - 17:00 (PST), Monday-Friday
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
UW Medicine IT Services (ITS) is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), Valley Medical Center (VMC), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing leadership, mentorship, and supervision for the Information Security IAM Operations Team and IAM Epic Security Team
Managing work assignments and ticket queues
Ensuring the IAM Operations and Epic Security documentation and procedures are up-to-date and
leading the delivery of provisioning services using enterprise identity solutions for authentication and authorization
Providing issue resolution to escalations received from the IAM Operations and Epic Security staff serving as the primary contact for other internal and external areas that work with IAM Operations and Epic Security
Ensuring the timely, professional, and compliant delivery of services to all customers throughout the enterprise and its partners
Leading the adaptation and integration of existing internal and external data sources within UW Medicine
Leading the development and maintenance of data and information flow for operational areas, representing IAM Operations and Epic Security in various project teams across UW Medicine and affiliate institutions
Managing and scheduling an on-call rotation in support of a 24x7x365 production environment and
assisting in the scheduling of technical activities
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supervisor, IAM Operations must maintain knowledge of operational processes and workflows for all internal and external stakeholders that require information access. The Supervisor, IAM Operations is a representative for both IAM Operations and Epic Security on various project teams including, but not limited to, the following areas:
All Epic users
All departments requiring account access and practioner information
All UW Medicine customers requesting access to information or referring provider information to clinics
IAM vendors, such as SailPoint and Okta
UWMedicine ITS Operations, Service Desk and Operations, including the active directory and Windows teams
Learning Management Systems Team
UW School of Medicine
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Organized Health Care Arrangements (OHCAS), ACN Partner organizations, contractual agreement organizations, referring providers and their staff
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
4+ years' experience must include the following:
2+ years' experience functioning as a Senior Analyst
2+ years' experience leading or supervising technology and/or business professionals
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and Visio. May substitute demonstrated experience with other Windows-based flowchart/diagram software in place of Visio 1+ year of experience identifying and resolving problems with databases and/or data quality
1+ year of experience utilizing data analysis tools and applications
Demonstrated experience developing policies, procedures, and workflow documents for a team of 10+
Demonstrated experience with shift schedule management (including an on-call schedule, highly desirable) of a team and/or production line staff
Demonstrated experience coaching, counseling, and mentoring a team
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with proven ability to influence in matrix environment
Proven ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and provide guidance and leadership to staff
